City of Philadelphia Stormwater Regulations
PWD is currently revising the City of Philadelphia’s stormwater regulations. The new guidelines will include new approaches to stormwater management that include controls to improve the quality of stormwater prior to discharge, controls to reduce the erosive effects of stormwater, and measures to increase groundwater recharge. The new stormwater regulations in Philadelphia will ensure that Philadelphia has an up-to-date and effective stormwater program that meets the state and federal requirements and can be coordinated with the changing regulations occurring in upstream municipalities.
